formerly Queensland Alumina Sports Club) was formed in 1966 to organism sporting and sports related social activities for a growing number of Queensland Alumina Ltd (AL) employees and their families. In subsequent years, with the assistance of AL, the Club developed important sporting facilities to provide sporting activities on the hostel site. These sporting facilities are still highly regarded as some of the superior in Central Queensland. In 1992 with the Club having a expansive community membership base, AL believed it was appropriate to grant the Club House independence. Accordingly, the Club became incorporated in its own correct as a sporting facility and was renamed Yaralla Sports Club Inc. In 2001 the Club commenced the beginning of six stages of an busy development program spanning 12 years. The renovations have seen the Club evolve into a first class dining, entertainment and gaming facility. Since 2011 the Club has also become a training ground for school based trainees and apprentices with the establishment of the Central Queensland Tourism and Hospitality Academy. Through its programs, students of the Academy take a huge head begin in their careers by the time they whole their schooling.

This hole has no bunkers around the green and looks quite simple but play it cautiously as the green is narrow, long and elevated. Pro’s advice: Fore of green has large sale and stay right of fairway bunker from tee shot. Pro’s advice: Play to the fore of the green, two putts and go to the next hole. Play it in regulation with 3 shots to the green as there is a bunker on the left side and three deep bunkers on the right. Each player must have their own set of clubs when playing. Move quickly between shots and be ready to play when it is your turn.
